Job Description

Our Midstream Oil and Gas client is seeking an experienced Application Project Manager to lead and manage projects focused on SAAS implementations. This contract position offer Hybrid Flexibility and is located in Central Houston. The Ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experiencing road mapping and creating project executing project plans for enterprise wide implementations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end application projects related to SAAS products.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, IT, and third-party vendors to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations using Smartsheet and Jira.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the Waterfall methodology throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate updates to senior leadership.
  • Facilitate project meetings, document decisions, and track action items.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of project management experience with a focus on applications
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Hands-on experience with Smartsheet and Jira is required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Must have experience with Waterfall methodology
  • Experience with third party application implementation or migration projects
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday, NetSuite).
