IT Network Technician

is seeking an IT Network Technician to be based in their Portland, ME office.

As we grow, we're looking for a

full-time IT Network

Technician

who's eager to learn and join a great team! This is an in-office based position, that requires regular travel to client sites across Southern Maine and Portsmouth NH. Our office is located in downtown Portland, ME, and your week will include a mix of help desk, documentation/admin work, with a majority of your time spent in the field, supporting clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Handling remote and onsite help desk tickets (hardware, software, networking) Visiting client sites to deploy equipment, troubleshoot, and assist with projects Running/terminating Ethernet (CAT6) cabling, installing Wi-Fi access points, and printers Supporting new client onboarding, including device setup and user training Creating and updating technical documentation (configs, passwords, SOPs) Learning new systems and tools as needed This is an in-office based position, that requires regular travel to client sites across Southern Maine and Portsmouth NH

Skills & Qualifications:

1-5 years of network experience Strong critical thinking skills, self-directed, and a passion for troubleshooting Ability to communicate with people with various levels of technical knowledge Basic understanding of Windows, networking, printers, cabling, routers/switches, etc. Basic understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, and basic connectivity principles Values continuous education and continuously looking to enhance knowledge of computer software and hardware devices
Ability to thrive and be productive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Preferred, experience with MSP tools and prior work in IT support Preferred, associate's degree or certs in IT, networking, or a related field Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
