Position Overview:


We are seeking an

IT Manager

to lead our technology operation and support our continued growth. This is a highly hands-on role overseeing all aspects of information technology, including systems administration, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, field sales and operations technology, and end-user support. You'll lead our IT team to keep operations running smoothly while supporting 200+ employees across corporate and field locations.
The ideal candidate thrives in a lean environment, can wear multiple hats, and bridges the gap between corporate IT needs and field operations requirements. This role reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer. Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Systems Management

Manage and maintain all IT infrastructure including servers, networks, telecommunications, and cloud services Administer Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet) for 200+ users across multiple locations Oversee NetSuite ERP system including user management, customizations, integrations, and reporting Support and maintain our custom-built CRM system, working with development partners on enhancements and troubleshooting Ensure 99%+ uptime for mission-critical systems supporting sales, operations, and installation teams Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and technology partners Handle day-to-day system administration tasks alongside strategic planning

Field Operations Technology

Support mobile technology needs for 100+ field installers and sales representatives Manage mobile devices (phones/tablets), mobile app deployments, and field connectivity Troubleshoot field access to Google Drive, custom CRM mobile functionality, and job documentation Work with operations to ensure field teams can access blueprints, permits, and customer data on-site Support GPS tracking and photo documentation tools integrated within our systems Be responsive to field tech issues that impact job completion--these are time-sensitive

User Support & Training

Lead a small IT support team while remaining hands-on with tier 2/3 technical issues Manage helpdesk ticketing system and ensure timely resolution (you'll handle many tickets yourself) Personally onboard new employees with equipment setup, accounts, and system access Create documentation and training materials for Google Workspace, NetSuite, and custom CRM Support remote and hybrid work technology requirements Be the go-to person when systems have issues--you're the escalation point

Strategic Planning & Projects

Develop IT roadmap aligned with business objectives while working within budget constraints Evaluate and recommend technologies to improve efficiency without unnecessary complexity Manage lean IT budget, maximizing value from every technology investment Lead system implementation projects for NetSuite enhancements and custom CRM updates Build scalable IT processes that support growth without significantly increasing headcount Work with external developers/vendors on custom CRM modifications and integrations

Data & Reporting

Partner with finance and operations teams on NetSuite reporting and dashboard needs Manage data integrations between custom CRM, NetSuite, project management tools, and other systems Troubleshoot data sync issues and ensure data accuracy across platforms Support business intelligence initiatives within NetSuite's reporting capabilities Work with CRM development partners on data structure improvements
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 2 years in a management or senior technical role Strong hands-on experience with Google Workspace administration (user management, security, groups, etc.) and Microsoft Office365 administration Experience with NetSuite or similar cloud-based ERP systems (administration, customizations, reporting) Solid understanding of networking, cybersecurity fundamentals, and cloud infrastructure Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently Experience working in lean IT environments where you "wear many hats" Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences Self-starter mentality with ability to prioritize and manage multiple urgent issues simultaneously Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally to field locations (10-15%)
