Job Description
This position reports to an IT leader and interfaces primarily with the Vistar and Corporate IT teams, but will also interact with key internal business partners. The IT Intern will gain exposure to the following areas:
- The big picture / strategy of a Fortune 200 company, specifically how a distribution company operates, and how IT fits in and enables success
- How IT supports business processes
- Candy, snack, and beverage distribution industry (Food/Bev)
- Develop web-based applications in React in order to support application monitoring solutions for order processing and operations
- Support applications displaying real-time system performance
- Additional reporting and related tasks
- Reporting/KPI programming and development
- Web-based support of business processes
- Agile, SCRUM

Required Qualifications
- Must be current student, with a minimum of 3.0 GPA in field of study
- Must be studying computer science, computer programming, information systems, or closely related
- Must be available for a 10 week, full-time internship in Englewood June 1 - August 7.
