Job Summary: This Team Lead of Storage and Backup position focuses on the technical leadership of the storage and backup components of the HDR global infrastructure. This position is responsible for ensuring a highly available infrastructure service is available to meet or exceed our customers\xe2\x80\x99 expectations. In the role of IT Team Lead for Storage and Backup, we\'ll count on you to: Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership in ongoing design, support, maintenance, and enhancement of information technology (IT) infrastructure environment
  • Provide task direction and guidance for other staff members on team
  • Provide support for team manager in developing budget information, staff coaching and guidance
  • Serve as contact point for first-level escalations to the team for technical and support issues
  • Fill in for team manager when needed
  • Work cooperatively with multiple levels of management
  • Perform other duties as needed
  • Weekend/evening work plus OT
  • May be requested to work overtime and weekends for special assignments, deadlines, or incident responses
  • Travel
  • May be expected to travel for operational requirements

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in technical analysis of systems
  • In-depth technical knowledge of network hardware, systems and architectures, and storage and backup system infrastructure technologies
  • Experience with multiple infrastructure platforms such as: VMware Suite, NetApp Storage Systems, Cloudian Object Storage, Nasuni Caching System, and Pure Storage solutions
  • Experience with backup and data protections systems such as: CommVault, CommVault Metallic, CommVault Metallic O365, Snapshot technology, SnapVault technologies and storage replication technologies
  • Technical proficiency with administering and supporting systems management tools and methodologies
  • Expertise in technologies particularly in mid to large enterprise environments
  • Experience in design, solutions development, and consultative roles is important
  • Experience leading others in critical situations, and in teaching and coaching others
  • Ability to develop innovative ideas for generating new approaches to solve problems
  • Ability to gather technical requirements and translate into applicable solutions
  • Excellent client service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively, and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate needs and new ideas with users and management
  • Ability to formulate ideas and present recommendations/proposals to IT management
  • Ability to write software and hardware evaluations and make recommendations for management review
  • Ability to work with vendors to request service and work through urgent product issues
  • Self-starter, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and capable of performing tasks in a dynamic environment, many times working under tight delivery schedules

  • California will be $102,179.00 - $145,970.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
  • Colorado will be $102,179.00 - $145,970.00annually/hourly depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
  • Washington will be $97,535.00 - $152,605.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
