We're currently seeking an experienced Information Technology Director to lead our IT strategy, infrastructure, and cybersecurity initiatives. This role is key to ensuring our technology systems are secure, reliable, and in full compliance with healthcare standards--ultimately supporting our mission of providing exceptional care to those in need.




Your Role





As the IT Director, you will oversee EveryStep's entire IT landscape. You'll partner with senior leadership to align technology initiatives with organizational goals, while leading a dedicated team of IT professionals. You'll drive innovative solutions that improve patient care, optimize operations, and ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place.




Key Responsibilities:




Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement EveryStep's IT strategy, ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with our mission. Cybersecurity & Compliance: Safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and other regulatory standards. Operations Management: Oversee IT operations, network infrastructure, and system maintenance to ensure optimal performance across the organization. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing IT team, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities. Innovation: Lead digital transformation initiatives that enhance care delivery, fundraising efforts, and internal efficiencies. Vendor & Budget Management: Manage IT vendor relationships, contracts, and budget forecasts to ensure cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.



Qualifications & Experience





We're looking for someone with both technical expertise and leadership experience, as well as a strong commitment to making a positive impact in the healthcare space.


Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: 7+ years in IT, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, with a focus on IT operations and security. Healthcare Knowledge: Experience with healthcare IT systems, EHR platforms, or nonprofit environments is highly desirable. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft environments, Nutanix, and Fortinet. Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE) are a plus. Compliance & Security: Strong understanding of HIPAA, HITECH, and cybersecurity best practices. Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and ethical conduct. Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
