What You Will Do
You will provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems (hardware and software) to SCDOR employees.

• Provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems (hardware/software) via phones, walk-ins and emails with a focus on security of taxpayer data
• Log all technical assistance and support requests into agency\'s ticketing system.
• Monitor and maintain ticketing to ensure resolution within established service level agreements (SLA)
• Create reports and dashboards of tickets and SLA\'s
• Assist in maintaining agency\'s technology related asset inventory databases
• Create and update documentation and procedures within the section as well as documentation for our change control process
• Train and assist in training of other technicians
• Lead, assist and participate on teams and special projects

Requires one of the following:

• A high school diploma and experience in office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, repair, or processing of information in a data processing environment or related system.
• A bachelor\'s degree in a related field
• An associate\'s degree in a related field

Academic degrees must be from an accredited institution of higher learning.

• Background Check: SCDOR employees are required to comply with all SCDOR tax requirements and are subject to a National Criminal Background Check to include fingerprinting.
