The IT Administrator is responsible for monitoring incoming incidents via phone and email while delivering excellent customer service, coordinating work with vendors, and overseeing the IT procurement and inventory process.
Job Duties
Ensure the Service Desk phone line and incoming emails are monitored.
Create incidents and assign to appropriate IT staff in the ITSM software, providing initial troubleshooting steps to end users when possible.
Oversee the purchase and delivery of IT equipment.
+ Create incidents as requested to purchase IT assets
+ Work with vendors to obtain quotes and competitive pricing
+ Provide tracking information and updates to the IT staff
+ Receive equipment and determine equipment allocation Manage IT equipment inventory and supplies.
Coordinate vendors and internal departments for printer repairs, electronic recycling pick-ups, and deliveries.
Oversee the process of shipping/receiving hardware for return, exchange and/or repair.
Occasionally pick-up and/or deliver computer related items from/to a vendor or facility.
Sit in on meetings as requested and log action items for the IT staff.
Promote a team environment by assisting other team members on issues when needed.
Any other tasks as needed by the IT Operations Manager.

Reliable transportation to accommodate travel between sites.
Occasional lifting and carrying of IT equipment up to 50 lbs.
Visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and networking/security equipment.
Reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform essential functions of the job.
Pre-employment drug screen required.
