Irrigation Technician

As our Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing our sprinkler system and low voltage lighting service programs. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting the Irrigation Installer with repairing, troubleshooting, adjusting, and maintaining the irrigation systems. What you'll be doing:

Oversee sprinkler system and low voltage lighting service programs Solve problems such as fixing leaks, broken head replacement and other irrigation system concerns Repair and replace pumps, main feeder, sprinkler heads and clocks Adjust clocks and heads depending on the water needs and time of season Manage Spring Start-ups and Winterization of sprinkler systems Responsible for electrical troubleshooting Complete necessary paperwork including time sheets, work orders, change orders, and materials used or needed for each job
Operates landscape equipment - including but not limited to trenchers, skid steers, and hand tools Support sprinkler system and low voltage lighting installation as needed Maintain a safe work environment Supervise employees that need trained and assisted in areas of irrigation and low voltage lighting

What you need to succeed:

Minimum 2+ years of experience in landscaping Minimum 2+ years of experience with irrigation systems and low voltage lighting Knowledge of irrigation system installation and maintenance Minimum 2+ years of experience operating skid steers, trenchers, and other landscaping equipment Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job specs for sprinkler system * Knowledge and proficiency of hand and power tools
