The IPATA Animal Transport role involves coordinating and executing the safe and efficient transportation of animals across various locations worldwide. Responsibilities

Arrange and oversee the logistics of animal transportation, including booking carriers and coordinating schedules. Ensure all transport complies with international, national, and love regulations regarding animal safety and welfare. Prepare necessary documentation such as health certificates, permits, and travel arrangements. Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, veterinarians, and customs officials to facilitate smooth transit processes. Monitor animals during transport to ensure their comfort and safety throughout the journey. Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking details, health information, and compliance documentation. Address any issues or emergencies that arise during transportation promptly and professionally.

Skills

Strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple shipments efficiently. Excellent communication abilities for liaising with diverse stakeholders across different regions. Knowledge of international animal transport regulations and compliance standards is preferred. Compassionate attitude toward animals with a focus on their safety and well-being. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively. Basic understanding of logistics software or transportation management systems is a plus. Prior experience in animal care, veterinary services, or logistics is advantageous but not required.
