As an IOL Planning Coordinator, you will communicate with patients and staff regarding Cataract surgical procedures and documentations. Responsibilities:

• Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner
• Performs diagnostic tests such as Immersion A-Scans and Keratometry
• Reviews patient charts and tests and examination results for completeness and accuracy
• Able to educate patients on ophthalmic conditions and surgical procedures
• Responsible for entering data from diagnostic results to create surgical plan
• Performs other duties as required to ensure the smooth flow of patients and accurate surgical plan

Qualifications:

• 
  High School Diploma or GED required
• 
  3-5 years medical experience preferred
• 
  Experience in ophthalmology is a plus
• 
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 
  Detailed oriented, reliable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment
• Demonstrated computer skills
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions
• Flexible schedule working Monday-Friday
