The Inventory Take-Off Specialist is responsible for reviewing construction drawings, plans, and specifications to prepare accurate material quantity take-offs. This role ensures that all required materials are identified, measured, and documented for purchasing, estimating, and project planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Review blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to determine material requirements.
Prepare detailed and accurate material take-offs for construction projects.
Maintain organized records of quantities, costs, and material lists.
Work with estimators, project managers, designers, and purchasing staff to provide timely take-off data.
Assist in identifying material substitutions or cost-saving options.
Ensure take-offs align with project scope and budget.
Update material requirements when project changes occur.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in construction estimating, Chief Architect, drafting, or material take-offs.
Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Detail-oriented with excellent math and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating/take-off software (e.g., Buildertrend).
Good communication and organizational skills.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
