Job Summary:

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate cannabis inventory records and supporting daily operations for packaged finished goods. This position ensures that all products are properly tracked, labeled, stored, and shipped in compliance with DCP regulations and company SOPs. Responsibilities include assisting with order fulfillment, outbound shipments, physical counts, data entry, and maintaining organized inventory areas to support compliance and operational efficiency.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:



Maintain accurate and up-to-date finished goods inventory records in BioTrack and internal tracking systems. Assist with product transfers, conversions, and updates between departments to ensure accurate tracking. Perform regular physical counts and reconcile results with electronic records to maintain data accuracy. Identify and report inventory discrepancies or variances to the Inventory Manager for resolution. Support scheduled physical audits by preparing materials, verifying counts, and documenting results. Ensure that all finished goods are properly labeled, packaged, and stored according to DCP regulations and company SOPs. Track and document waste, returns, and product destruction in compliance with internal and regulatory procedures. Assist with order fulfillment and outbound shipments, including preparing pick lists, manifests, and verifying accuracy before release. Maintain clean, organized, and secure storage areas that meet safety and compliance standards. Collaborate with Production and Packaging teams to confirm batch and packaging logs are accurately completed. Participate in ongoing training related to inventory control, compliance procedures, and updated SOPs

Qualifications:



1-3 years of experience in inventory, logistics, or warehouse operations (cannabis industry experience preferred). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Familiarity with inventory tracking software such as BioTrack, METRC, or equivalent. Basic understanding of cannabis compliance regulations preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office products. Ability to lift to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Dependable, punctual, and capable of maintaining confidentiality and compliance.

Physical Demands:

This role is performed in a cultivation environment that may have limited natural light, variable temperatures, and elevated noise levels. Team members should be prepared for periods of prolonged standing or sitting, as well as frequent bending, stooping, and other repetitive tasks on hard surfaces. The position also requires the regular use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as gloves, masks, and hairnets, and may include working in temperature-controlled or cleanroom conditions. Candidates must be comfortable performing light manual labor, including lifting between 30-50 lbs., while maintaining attention to safety and quality standards.
