Inventory Manager

Crabtree Dispensary is a new dispensary opening in Kensington, Maryland. The Inventory Manager (IM) at Crabtree Dispensary is responsible for receiving, intake, storage, and most importantly, compliance. They are accountable for ensuring that the dispensary maintains compliance with Maryland Cannabis Administration regulations. The IM reports to the General Manager (GM). The tentative start date will be between January 15 - 31, 2026.

Responsibilities

Partner with the GM to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Adhere to daily compliance checklist Ensure teammates know their compliance responsibilities Avoid inventory discrepancies Conduct investigations to address any inventory discrepancies
Oversee all inventory tasks

Oversee regular inventory cycle counts Supervise inventory receiving and inventory movements Regularly perform METRC and POS audits and verify data for accuracy Maintain product expiration logs and create ways to sell products prior to expiration date
Work with GM and CEO on product purchasing

Provide input into menu, promotions, and pricing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or comparable business experience At least two years in a supervisory or management role in a retail setting, specifically with POS (Dutchie preferred) business operations Cannabis experience preferred Meet the scheduling and availability requirements (i.e., ability to work a schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends) to meet business needs Must have reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance Must be 21 years or older Must pass any and all required background checks Must possess a valid driver's license or state ID Must be and remain compliant with all legal and company regulations for working in the industry Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Crabtree Dispensary Must have a solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules and regulations and passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
