Job Description

Position Summary:

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient inventory flow, and supporting warehouse operations. This position plays a key role in preventing shortages, minimizing overstock, and maintaining data integrity within inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly. Track incoming and outgoing shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders and invoices. Prepare inventory reports and provide analysis on stock levels, usage trends, and variances. Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures and best practices. Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of products in the warehouse. Support periodic physical inventory counts. Maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred. Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Forklift certification a plus (training provided if needed).

Work Hours

Day shift starting at 6:00 AM Monday - Friday. Weekend shifts also available. Must be flexible and able to work overtime as necessary. Work schedule may vary.
