Supervisor: Inventory Control Manager & Warehouse Manager
Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and supporting physical inventory counts. This role works closely with warehouse, purchasing, and accounting teams to ensure inventory accuracy, proper documentation, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate inventory records in the company's inventory ERP system
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts and cycle counts
Investigate, research, and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances
Reconcile physical inventory to system records and prepare adjustment documentation
Track inventory movements including receipts, transfers, returns, and write-offs
Verify receiving documentation and ensure inventory is properly recorded
Assist with year-end physical inventory counts and audits
Generate inventory reports for management, accounting, and operations
Communicate inventory issues to Accounting, warehouse supervisors and management
Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory control procedures
Support process improvements to reduce inventory loss, damage, and shrinkage
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred)
1-3 years of inventory control, warehouse, or related experience
Familiarity with Costa products - produce, dry, canned, frozen.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in inventory systems or ERP software
Basic Excel skills (data entry, sorting, simple formulas)
Ability to analyze data and resolve discrepancies
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be literate in English, clear written and verbal communication skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in a warehouse environment
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs (as applicable)
Comfortable working around forklifts and warehouse equipment
Work Environment
Warehouse and office environment
Must be able walk and stand for duration of shift (8 hours) or more.
Must be able to work in a multi-temp warehouse environment ranging from sub-zero to the ambient temperature of the outdoors for the entire shift without restrictions.
May require early mornings, weekends, or overtime during inventory counts

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 - 45.0 per week
