Job Description

We are a family owned company serving the Southern California community for over 70 years. We are looking for a responsible warehouse worker for general labor . You will represent our company in a professional and cost effective manner aiming at increasing profitability and customer satisfaction.

Iventory Control plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory levels across all areas of the Distribution Center. The position ensures that all inbound and outbound products are received, tracked, stored, and shipped correctly. This role requires a sense of urgency, as well as a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, and an ability to communicate effectively across multiple areas of the company. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

Essential Job Functions:



Conduct Inventory Audits: Appliances and Plumbing items in the warehouse

Conduct Inventory Audits: All Stocked Items

Conduct Transfer Request / Transfer Truck Audits

Conduct Inventory Audits: Closeout Items

Conduct Inventory Audits: Returns/Warranty Claims and Process

Report Audit results (Daily/Weekly/Monthly)

Schedule Weekly/Daily Cycle Counts in partnership with the corporate Inventory manager.

Participate in Weekly/Daily Cycle Counts

Report Weekly/Daily Cycle Count results (Daily/Weekly)

Report Inventory Variances (QTD/YTD)

Spot Audit/Review all operations process compliance

Participate/Prepare annual physical inventories.

Partner with stakeholders to address and/or correct inventory discrepancies

Work with DC Management to address and/or correct any process concerns/issues

Partners with Corporate Inventory Manager on assigned projects.

Other duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities:



Participate in Weekly DC Management Team Meetings

Monitor and Report Inventory Levels

Report monthly aged inventory (stock, returns, closeout)

Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies

Identify and report any potential Loss Prevention concerns

Minimum Qualifications:



Minimum 2 years' experience working in a warehouse as an inventory associate. Minimum 2 years working with an Enterprise (ERP) System Excellent communication skills Excellent organization and planning skills Excellent Time Management skills Attention to detail Sense of Urgency Reliable transportation to the work site. Familiarity with MS Excel
