We're currently hiring an

Inventory Consumption Clerk

for 3rd Shift. 3rd shift schedule starting 8pm-4:30am Monday-Friday (occasional overtime).

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

: (Summary of Job Duties)
This position is responsible for reconciling raw materials consumed during the production process against finished product. While communicating and resolving discrepancies with multiple internal departments. Responsible for the timely entry of daily production consumption data into Company ERP system (Navision.) Maintains an accurate inventory of all materials via Navision and/or Excel Spread Sheets.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

:Enter production consumption into Navision in a timely manner. Conduct cycle counts on materials on a scheduled and as needed basis. Resolve inventory issues in a timely manner. Order materials (boxes, labels and film) from suppliers on a daily basis. Communicate errors and issues with production/suppliers/purchasing. Monitor inventories and adjust Bill of Materials (BOM's) as needed. Effectively communicate issues and raise critical issues to needed management. Supports the Warehouse Manager on any corrections of inventory discrepancies in a timely matter. Follow established departmental policies, procedures, objectives and safety standards. Employee shall also be trained but not limited to good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP, CCP and safety Attend all department and company required trainings. Perform other duties as assigned.

Food Safety and Quality Responsibilities

Report all safety quality, issues, and deviations to management. Comply with all Plant, State, Federal, EPA, FDA, USDA, OSHA, HACCP, SQF guidelines and regulations for food safety, quality, and employee safety. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices requirements to ensure food safety, safe work practices.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

MUST BE DETAILED ORIENTED. Must be experienced working with computers and have the ability to learn, navigate and use designated software programs as required to perform job functions, (Navision, Excel ). Must be able to work effectively in a multitasking work environment and prioritize workload. Must be able to read, understand a Production Schedule, and find the required packaging material by understanding "Job Cards" and "Bill of Materials". Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision and have the ability to interact positively with others within the Department and the organization.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

:
High School Diploma or GED is a minimum requirement.

Advanced education and/or 2-5 years previous experience or equivalent preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Some work will be conducted in a Warehouse/Production type atmosphere where the temperature is as low and 32 degrees or could be as high as 90 degrees. Noise level in the Production environment may require use of hearing protection. Requires standing for long periods of time, walk, climbing stairs, occasional lifting of material up to 50 pounds and occasional twisting, turning, bending stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment.
