Job Description
Every Special Child is seeking a dedicated and qualified Intervention Specialist/Special Education Teacher to join our team in Ohio.
Job Responsibilities:
Write and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students Provide daily instruction and classroom support to students with and without disabilities Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff to meet student needs Work with students one-on-one or in small group settings Coordinate schedules for special education students and teacher assistants aligned with the master schedule Track, document, and reflect on student progress Monitor students' behavioral patterns and arrange appropriate interventions when necessary Communicate regularly with families and team members Perform all additional duties related to the program as required
Requirements:
Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License 1+ years of experience as an Intervention Specialist or Special Education Teacher Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (Master's degree with an emphasis in Special Education preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00 - $48.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
