About Us:

Moorhead is a land clearing and site preparation contractor specializing in large-scale projects such as solar farms, commercial developments, and right-of-way clearing. We are looking for motivated interns who want hands-on experience in construction management and the land clearing industry.



Position Summary:

As an Intern, you'll work alongside experienced project managers, supervisors, and operators to gain real-world knowledge of land clearing, site prep, and construction operations. This internship is designed to give you exposure to project planning, fieldwork, and day-to-day management responsibilities in the construction industry.



What You'll Learn:


Project management basics (scheduling, budgeting, documentation). Field operations and equipment coordination. Safety and compliance procedures. Communication and leadership in construction crews. Hands-on exposure to industry software and reporting tools.

Responsibilities:


Assist project managers with daily tasks and reporting. Support field supervisors with crew coordination and safety checks. Participate in site visits, inspections, and project meetings. Complete internship workbook and assignments to track progress and learning. Provide general support to office and field teams as needed.

Qualifications:


Strong communication and organizational skills. Willingness to work in both office and field environments. Positive attitude and eagerness to learn. Ability to travel to job sites as needed. Valid driver's license.
