Overview:
If you're curious about how products, promotions, and retail strategy come together to create an experience guests love, this internship is a great fit. Join us as a Merchandising Intern and spend ten weeks working alongside experienced leaders who will help you build confidence, learn new skills, and see the business from multiple angles.
This program blends hands-on department work, cross-department learning, mentorship, and a strategic project that lets you put your creativity and business thinking to use. You'll walk away with real experience and a clearer picture of where you want your career to go.
Core Department Business Experience

• Serve as a contributing member of a designated home department (e.g., Operations, HR, Merchandising, Marketing, IT, or Finance).
• Support key departmental projects that align with business objectives and priorities.
• Participate in day-to-day activities and gain exposure to functional operations and decision-making processes.

Strategic Business Project

• Collaborate in small teams (2-3 interns) to complete a strategic, cross-functional project.
• Conduct research, analyze data, and develop creative, actionable recommendations.
• Deliver a formal presentation of project outcomes to the Operating Committee at the conclusion of the program.

Cross-Department Learning

• Participate in job shadows with leaders from multiple departments to gain a broad view of organizational operations.
• Explore retail and non-retail environments to see firsthand how strategic initiatives impact guests.
• Attend cross-functional learning sessions that foster business understanding and collaboration.

Development & Learning

• Complete weekly learning assignments including readings, TED Talks, and guided reflection exercises.
• Attend large-group sessions led by the Learning & Development (L&D) team featuring leadership lessons, guest speakers, and business insights.
• Participate in skill-building workshops focused on communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and presentation skills.

Mentorship & Support

• Meet weekly with an assigned mentor for feedback, coaching, and career development discussions.
• Check in regularly with a department lead to review project progress and learning goals.
• Partner with L&D throughout the program to track growth and ensure a meaningful learning experience.
