International Trade Compliance Analyst Iii (hybrid Eligible)

Job Description


Are you looking to use your international trade passion and expertise in an industry that supports and protects explorers and heroes? We could use you in our International Trade Compliance Office (ITCO)! As an International Trade Compliance analyst, you\'ll provide integral support to a dynamic Import/Export licensing portfolio. You\'ll focus on ensuring conformity with US trade regulations, managing export and import authorizations, and provide strategic international trade guidance. As a key partner for our internal & external customers, you\'ll proactively facilitate compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Arms Export Control Act (AECA), Export Control Reform Act (ECRA), US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Foreign Trade Regulations, and relevant foreign customs regulations.

At SNC\xe2\x80\x99s Washington, D.C. office we are responsible for government affairs, international strategy, international business, and trade and regulatory compliance. We provide strategic guidance across the organization, helping to find alignment and compliance between SNC and the national security priorities of the U.S. government.

This role is open to a hybrid schedule

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze international trade implications for your assigned portfolio
  • Proactively identify and mitigate trade compliance risks
  • Draft and manage import/export licenses, agreements, and exemption/exceptions w/ focus on DSP-5\'s and Technical Assistance Agreements
  • Determine export control jurisdiction via internal classifications and CJ/CCATS submission
  • Conduct ongoing review of licensing activity to ensure proviso compliance and process conformance
  • Collaborate with enterprise functional partners to further integrate and streamline SNC\xe2\x80\x99s trade compliance posture
  • Monitor regulatory landscape for potential impacts to SNC\'s portfolio
Must-haves:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in a related field, and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education * Able to effectively and clearly communicate complex regulatory requirements and solutions
  • Extensive understanding of export control and international trade concepts to include ITAR, EAR, FTR, FCPA, & OFAC
  • Passion for international trade compliance
  • Basic knowledge of Customs processes and associated compliance requirements
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting federal rules and regulations
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Preferred:
  • Past experience implementing trade compliance concepts and associated risk mitigation strategies
  • Proficient w/ OCR EASE, DECCS, SNAP-R, Customs ACE
  • Experience facilitating Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS)
  • Proficient with ITAR exemption/EAR exception utilization
