Description:

CIFC Health, a project of Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. seeks to hire a full-time Internal Medicine Residency Program Coordinator. The position is responsible for the coordination of all non-clinical aspects of the Primary Care Residency Program of CIFC Health. This position reports to the Primary Care Residency Program Director and serves as the liaison for the Program\'s Residents when they are at the FQHC. The Program Coordinator, as supervised by the Residency Program Director, is responsible for ensuring the administrative implementation of the Primary Care Residency Program within the Center, and collaboration with CIFC\'s senior management.

This position requires compliance with funding sources (CHCACT) CIFC and CIFC Health\'s written standards, including its Compliance Program and all organizational policies and procedures (Written Standards). Such compliance will be considered as part of the employee\'s regular performance evaluation. Failure to comply with CIFC and/or CIFC Health\'s Written Standards, which may include the failure to report any conduct or event that potentially violates legal or compliance requirements or CIFC or CIFC Health\'s Written Standards, will be met by the enforcement of disciplinary action, up to and including possible termination, in accordance with the CIFC Compliance Policy & Plan and the CIFC Employee Manual.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinates Resident certification, Visa status, and licensure
  • Coordinates on-boarding of Residents
  • Coordinates the preparation of Orientation and Departmental Policy Manual
  • Maintain Resident tracking, procedure logs, duty hours, records and resident files.
  • Coordinate the interview season, including orchestrating the recruitment process, updating the program brochure and webpages, retrieving and downloading information from ERAS, coordinating interview day, and providing input in the ranking of candidates.
  • Coordinate and document the evaluation processes
  • Coordinate the process for adverse evaluations and potential subsequent actions
  • Coordinate Resident activities and schedules
  • Prepare reports, summaries and reviews of training program activities
  • Assist with the completion of the ADS report to ACGME
  • Track all documentation to ensure it is in compliance with ACGME Institutional and Sponsor requirements.
  • Coordinate verification requests
  • Coordinate resident adherence and faculty compliance with requirements.
  • Prepare Committee agendas and minutes.
  • Coordinate the internal review process.
  • Participate in academic societies and in educational programs designed to

Qualifications
  • BA degree; advanced degree (e.g. MBA, JD, MPA, MPH) strongly preferred
  • Administration and supervisory experience of at least three years
  • Pass physical examination, background check, and fingerprinting screen
  • Valid driver\'s license required
  • Basic computer literacy in email, word processing and internet navigation
  • Bilingual capacity (English/Spanish) preferred.
