You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our associates are connected to the right information, people and tools to do their jobs and creates an engaging workplace for associates. You will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that facilitate smooth transitions, improve adoption of new processes, share important company news, and foster a culture of open communication. What Does a Typical Day Look Like? Here are your primary responsibilities:

Connect more than 1,500 global associates to the information and resources they need to do their job more efficiently. Develop the strategy and oversee all global internal communications including digital, print and mobile messaging in different languages, while recognizing the different populations - everyone from the CEO to manufacturing associates. Develop, maintain and own content for the Bakelite intranet by executing a strong editorial calendar that helps connect our associates to everything from our mission and vision to understanding our competitive benefits. Develop internal messaging for senior leadership team, including global town hall presentations to all corporate and organizational announcements. Manage all communications activities related to the associate experience, including but not limited to change management communications and recruitment, onboarding and benefits messaging. Work closely with the Learning and Development team to develop communication plans that support training and development programs, ensuring associates have the information they need to succeed. Partner with leaders across the organization to highlight Bakelite's commitment to the communities in which we live and work. Manage and lead various outside vendors to implement internal communications campaigns and strategies. Stay on top of and implement current internal communications technology to maximize the reach and impact of our associate communications. Track and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Form cross-functional partnerships to stay informed and ensure content reflects all areas of the organization. Collaborate with marketing team members to reinforce branding and scale content across platforms.

What is Needed to be Successful in this Role (Required Skills/Abilities):

Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or a related field required. 4+ years of experience in change management and/or internal communications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
