Troy Bank and Trust is excited to announce an internship opportunity to join our team in the Troy Office.


This position provides quality and efficient administrative support to our loan processing and loan servicing departments. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assist with filing/maintaining loan files to include scanning/imaging documents. Assist with printing, checking for accuracy and mailing loan notices to customers. Aid with processing loan documents and identifying missing, inaccurate, or incomplete underwriting documentation. Work with loan operations associates to review and complete all requirements needed to close loans within established timeframes. Provide administrative support to loan operations associates with booking, maintenance, and modifications of all loans. Carry out other duties as assigned.


Minimum qualifications include the following:

High school degree or equivalent; Must be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university leading to formal graduate qualification. Be at least a rising junior-level college student pursuing a business major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related major with minimum 3.0 GPA. Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment. Proven dedication to excellence and achieving results. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong analytical, critical thinking and organizations skills. Solid working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office software. Demonstrated skill in accuracy and attention to detail. Team oriented with the ability to work independently. Must have the ability to walk, kneel, bend, climb, crawl, lift and carry up to 20 lbs., stand or sit for long periods of time, work in a small area and perform work associated with filing, sorting, straightening, and organizing.

Pay rates for this opportunity will be based upon experience.
