Our Summer Intern program gives students an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience, exposure to key leaders, group projects, time to build relationships with other Interns, and so much more!

Opportunity:

The Safety Intern will gain hands-on experience in a several manufacturing facilities with Sheboygan Falls, WI. The selected student will work with the Corporate EHS manager and the EHS coordinator to update our Lockout/tagout, HAZCOM and Hearing Conservation Programs by working with skilled trades, production managers, and employees.

Specific Responsibilities:

Assist with updating the Lockout/Tagout program by working with technical groups to ensure accuracy and post procedures at each machine. Assist with Safety Data Sheet management system and chemical inventory of all Sheboygan Falls facilities. Assist with the Hearing Conservation Program by performing noise dosimetry in all Sheboygan Falls facilities.

This position will be for a summer internship. Virtual interviews will take place January-February and the internship will start mid-May/early June and end in August.

Skills & Qualifications:

Pursuing a degree in Safety or related field Familiar with MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Demonstrated ability to lead projects. Excellent written & verbal communication skills & the ability to clearly communicate to all levels of the organization. Organized and detail-oriented, able to prioritize tasks and work against deadlines. * Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
