Summary:

This position will allow a motivated candidate to work within multiple facets of the advertising sales division in an organization that reaches over 53% of Floridians in a given month with robust digital and traditional media offerings.

An opportunity to enhance your skills in client retention and lead development as well as help develop programs for self-serve client acquisition. As an advertising intern you will work effectively with the customers, the internal marketing team and sales leadership on both print and digital products as needed.

What you will do:

Contact lapsed customers and sales prospects for appointment setting

Verify that contact information in our customer database is up-to-date by contacting existing customers via phone and email or doing web research

Compile email address lists using information in our customer database and on our prospect lists

Work with Marketing and Sales Leadership to draft an email marketing drip campaign, including deployment dates, copy points and monitoring acquisition metrics

Work with Marketing and Sales Leadership to re-imagine packaging and execution for our advertising options on our self-serve site

Performs other related duties as assigned

What you will bring:

Candidates should be enrolled in or recently graduated from a college degree program, with a focus on advertising, marketing, sales, business, communications or a related field

The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, and be able to interact effectively with other team members, management and customers

Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills

Be available Monday - Friday, during normal business hours. This is a work from home position and requires access to reliable internet
