The Stratasys Summer Internship Program is a 12-week paid experience from May to August that lets you make an impact from day one. As an intern, you'll gain hands-on experience on real, high-impact projects-contributing to key initiatives or even leading your own, depending on your skills and initiative.

The Mechanical Test Engineer Internship is designed to provide mechanical test engineering experience within Stratasys. In this exceptional hands-on program, you will learn how a fast-paced test engineering team operates and the dynamics of a professional engineering working environment.
What you will be doing:

• Collect and analyze test data. Prepare graphs, data tables, and reports to present the test results
• Create test processes. Validate new or improved test methods and equipment
• Improve test procedures and processes
• Completes work assignment with direction from the manager and responsible engineer
• Maintain regular communication with the manager, responsible engineer, and other members of the Test department team
• Understand and consistently follow all established protocols and procedures covering documentation and data storage

Must have for this role:

• Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science and Engineering
• Two years of higher education must be completed - (Entering Junior or Senior year education as of Spring 2026)
• Some material testing knowledge required
• Ability to lift material weighing upwards of 40 lbs.
• Local to Minnesota or able to relocate without assistance to the Minnetonka, MN area

Nice to have:

• 3D printing experience highly desired
• MTS load frame experience
• Preferred Major(s): Mechanical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering

Travel Requirements: Between MN Stratasys sites

Additional Information:
For this position, the base salary is $21.50 per hour.
