The

Data Analytics Intern

is responsible for leveraging available data for the purposes of creating business insight. The intern will be exposed to complex data structures, writing SQL queries, refining/blending raw data for analytical purposes, analyzing patterns in the data, and packaging the analysis in clear and concise presentation formats to communicate business insights. This position will provide you with a hands-on opportunity to be part of a creative team that provides strategic, forward-thinking solutions to our management team.


Here's what to expect:




Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets Design and build comprehensive reports/dashboards and other tools to assist business managers in making business decisions Support the enterprise data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality Collaborate with EA team members on project goals

Here's what it takes:




Active undergraduate or graduate student. Candidate must be returning to school in the fall. Preferred fields of study are Business Analytics, Finance, Economics or related discipline. Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze information with attention to detail and accuracy Adept at queries (SQL), report writing and presenting findings Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical terms Ability to create content rich and concise data visualization outputs for easy consumption by business users Ability to be resourceful in solving complex business problems Understanding of star/snowflake schemas as general data warehousing methodologies
