The Community & Culture Intern provides support to the department by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, internal communications, and administrative tasks. This role offers exposure to key functions that contribute to a positive workplace environment and ensures smooth HR operations.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with recruitment activities such as posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
Helping onboard new employees by preparing materials and participating in orientation and training sessions
Updating employee records and maintaining data accuracy in HR systems
Supporting benefits and leave administration by helping with documentation and employee inquiries
Organizing performance review schedules and assisting with related documentation
Responding to employee questions about HR policies and procedures
Helping prepare HR reports and supporting payroll processes
Contributing to employee engagement initiatives like recognition programs and internal communications
Assisting with training and development projects, including creating visual and written content
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual who's eager to learn and contribute. Ideal candidates will have:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good organizational and time management abilities
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Interest in HR systems and willingness to learn new tools (experience with ADP WorkforceNow is a plus)
Bonus: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or audiovisual tools for creating engaging content
Education:
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
