Elite Surface Infrastructure (ESI) is a growing company located in Englewood Colorado and has been working along the Colorado front range since 1998. ESI is one of the largest construction companies in Colorado that self-performs a variety of services including Underground Utilities, Milling, Asphalt, Paving, Grading, Concrete, and Earthwork for Infrastructure and Infrastructure Improvement Projects in the commercial, municipal, and federal sectors.
POSITION SUMMARY
The internship program at ESI is designed for individuals passionate about careers in construction. Interns can explore a range of roles including entry-level laborers, machine operators, project management assistants, and estimating support. Interns will gain valuable hands-on experience in the field or office, contributing to real-world projects while developing their skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, including but not limited to:
Field Positions:
Support construction crews with labor tasks such as material handling and equipment operation.
Assist with equipment maintenance and site organization.
Learn and apply safety practices under supervision.
Office Positions:
Collaborate with project managers on planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress.
Assist estimators in preparing bids, conducting takeoffs, and analyzing costs.
Perform data entry, research, and administrative support tasks as needed.

Education:
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment varies by position. Field roles are outdoors and subject to weather conditions, while office roles are in standard indoor office settings.
