Overview:


We are seeking a

dedicated and compassionate BCaBA or BCBA Intern

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in behavioral therapy and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. Under the supervision of a certified BCBA, you will assist in conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to promote meaningful behavior change and skill development.

Minimum Requirements:



Must have a

minimum of 500 verified fieldwork hours

toward BCaBA or BCBA certification. Must have

previous experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

. Demonstrated understanding of

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

principles and data collection procedures. Strong commitment to professional growth, ethical practice, and compassionate client care.

Duties and Responsibilities:



Assist in conducting comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs. Support in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles. Collect and analyze behavior data to track progress and help adjust treatment strategies as needed. Provide direct behavioral therapy under supervision, ensuring a positive and therapeutic environment. Collaborate with families, educators, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards. Participate in client intake processes and contribute to treatment planning discussions. Educate families and caregivers on effective behavioral strategies to support ongoing development.

Skills and Qualifications:



Strong knowledge of ABA techniques and behavioral therapy principles. Experience working with children and individuals with autism or developmental disabilities. Proficient in data collection and analysis for progress monitoring. Familiarity with special education practices and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient care skills with empathy and professionalism. Strong organizational skills for accurate documentation and record-keeping.
