Job Description
Garrett Singer Architecture + Design is seeking to hire an experienced and creative Intermediate to Senior level Interior Designer to work on exciting and notable restaurant, bar and nightclub projects. This job is for an in-person position in our NYC studio. All potential candidates must live in the NYC area and be able to easily commute to our office and to work in person on a daily basis. Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Experience in restaurant/commercial design.
- Proficient in Sketch up.
- Efficient and capable in developing Design Development and Construction documents, including millwork details.
- Familiar with creating FF&E presentations and spec books.
- Candidate must have a keen sense of style and awareness/appreciation of modern design trends.
- Candidate must be able to collaborate with others, take direction well and be able to implement their own skills and designs in a creative and considered way.
- Capable of managing clients, contractors and vendors in a professional and highly organized manner.
