Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing interior spaces that align with client needs and aesthetic goals. This role requires a strong foundation in design principles, technical skills, and project management to deliver innovative and functional environments across residential, commercial, and renovation projects.

Duties

Develop comprehensive interior design concepts using software such as SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite. Create detailed drawings, renderings, and presentations to communicate design ideas effectively. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure project specifications are met within budget and timeline constraints. Manage multiple projects from initial concept through construction documentation, including remodeling and renovation work. Select appropriate materials, finishes, lighting solutions, and furnishings that enhance the overall design aesthetic. Prepare detailed contracts, proposals, and budgets for client approval. Oversee lighting sales and lighting design aspects of projects to ensure optimal ambiance and functionality. Coordinate with construction teams during renovation or remodeling phases to ensure design integrity is maintained. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address issues promptly, and ensure quality standards are upheld.

Skills

Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator), and 3ds Max. Strong drafting skills with a solid understanding of CAD standards and techniques. Knowledge of color theory, lighting design, and interior design principles. Experience in project management including scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration. Ability to interpret architectural drawings and construction documents accurately. Excellent communication skills for client presentations and team collaboration. Familiarity with construction processes, remodeling procedures, and renovation best practices.
