The Interior Designer will support and lead design efforts through all phases of the design-build process--from concept development and space planning to construction documentation and final installation. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable generating creative design ideas and producing accurate technical drawings that support smooth project execution.

Essential Duties



Collaborate with project managers, architects, and construction team members to develop creative and cohesive design solutions Create conceptual designs, mood boards, finish palettes, and presentation materials Produce detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documentation Select and source materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment Conduct site visits to verify field conditions and support construction progress Present design concepts to clients in a compelling, clear and professional manner Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and industry best practices

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Interior Design NCIDQ Certification 3-5+ years of professional design experience, preferrable within a design-build or commercial construction environment Strong knowledge of design principals, space planning, materials, finishes and building codes Proficient in design and documentation software such as AutoCAD or REVIT Excellent visualization and presentation skills with keen attention to detail Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Strong communication, organization and client-interfacing skills Creative problem-solver with a practical understanding of construction methods and project budgets
