Job Overview


Intensive In-Community Service (IIC-Therapist) is an analytical, focused goal oriented, and needs based clinical intervention that addresses emotional and behavioral challenges of youth with moderate to high needs. In home counseling services may be provided in a youth's home or in an amenable community location in either (

Hunterdon, Somerset, and Warren counties

) facilitated by a licensed behavioral health clinician and is intended to stabilize and support the youth and family in an effort to deter more intensive interventions and to support the youth and family in collaboration with the Child Family Team (CFT) or identified support system. This is a short-term, solution focused intervention that addresses presenting behaviors resulting in the youth and her/his family/care giver/guardian gaining insight and improving function at home and in the community. Youth and families are eligible to receive Intensive In-Community Services if they are receiving Care Management, MRSS services, and as part of the Transitional Planning process from OOH treatment back to the community, through the NJ Children's System of Care.

Responsibilities



We are looking for highly motivated and qualified

licensed therapists

to provide

in-person

weekly therapeutic services to children and adolescents ages 5-21 in their home/community. MHCNJ provides In-home or virtual counseling in

Hunterdon, Somerset, and Warren counties

. Case assignments will be selected based on therapist's location and preferences. This is a great opportunity for flexible work for seasoned professionals or professionals new to the field working towards.

Experience



Must meet with the youth and their family in their home and/or community on a weekly basis if assigned in either

Hunterdon, Somerset, and Warren counties.

Must maintain youth's clinical record including weekly progress notes, treatment plans, and BAISPs if applicable. Must collaborate and communicate effectively with all treatment team members (e.g. family, care manager, school, behavior assistant, mentor, etc.)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract

Pay: $85.00 - $95.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
