Description:The Lockheed Martin (LM) Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) Integration, Test & Evaluation (IT&E) organization is hiring experienced I&T Engineers.

The Test Systems Production Test Engineer supports the Air Ground and Missile Systems (AGMS) production line by providing technical assistance in troubleshooting and identification of recurring failures and fault isolation of failing hardware.

This candidate will be responsible for multiple parallel tasks in the support of parts ordering; fabrication; documentation correction; software correction; integration of the duplicate test equipment; verification of the test equipment on the test floor; and ensuring all aspects of the test equipment has met IT&E TS standards and is ready to be used by production.

This effort includes: Redesigning current test adapters, modifying and reviewing test software. As well as, integrating test adapters with existing common core test stations, creating validation plans and certifying ITAs/TPSs for production. Must have experience with engineering labs and production facilities.

The candidate must the ability to read and understand electrical schematics and familiarity with fundamental electro-optical principles. This effort requires someone who is a self-starter and the desired to learn in collaboration with other E&T functions and Production Operations to develop requirements and technical solutions.

This position requires moderate to advanced programming knowledge of LabVIEW, Lab Windows CVI and TestStand. This position requires: Experienced in Electrical Design (cable design, circuit board design, etc.). Experienced in hardware troubleshooting to find defects in manufactured test adapters. Experienced working in a team environment and capable of working with little direction. Familiar with the LM MFC Design Assurance Process and capable of organizing reviews. Excellent communication skills with capability to provide accurate weekly (and sometimes daily) status updates.

Travel to Ocala will be required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with Automate Test Equipment and Test Methodologies
  • Experienced in hardware troubleshooting to find defects in manufactured test adapters
  • Software and Hardware design experience
  • Experience in oral and written communication to present to management.
  • Ability to travel as needed
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with NI Development Suite (TestStand, CVI, and LabVIEW)
  • Experience with Automated Test Equipment Design
  • Experience interpreting Test Requirements
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
