We are a locally owned and operated durable medical equipment (DME) company looking for a dependable, customer-focused

Intake Specialist

to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, helping patients, and ensuring they receive the care and equipment they need.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer inbound phone calls and provide excellent customer service. Receive and process orders via fax or in person at our location. Verify insurance benefits, deductibles, and co-insurance amounts. Collect and review medical records to confirm medical necessity for ordered equipment or supplies. Communicate professionally with patients, referral sources, and insurance companies. Dispense equipment and supplies to patients in our office. Schedule deliveries and coordinate shipment of orders. Assist with retail sales as needed.

Qualifications:

Reliable, dependable, and committed to great service. Strong general office and customer service skills. Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Prior healthcare or insurance knowledge is a plus -- but we are willing to train the right person.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Rotating Saturdays: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
