Job Summary:
The Intake Specialist primarily communicates with potential clients over the phone and acts as the initial contact for the firm. They set the tone for the potential clients\' experience with the firm using excellent customer service abilities and a positive demeanor.
Responsibilities:

  • Reviews lead quality, prioritizes, and assigns leads.
  • Interview prospective clients by phone and email to become familiar with their cases.
  • Conducts basic research to investigate whether prospective clients\' claims have merit.
  • Evaluates prospective clients\' claims to determine whether they are in line with the areas of practice and experience of the firm.
  • Schedules initial consultation appointments with attorneys for promising potential candidates.
  • Onboard new clients by completing the necessary paperwork and compiling initial case files.
  • Enters client information into computer systems.
  • Performs assigned administrative support tasks.

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Professional demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to organize tasks and responsibilities, and follow-up in a timely manner.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teammates.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace or similar.
  • Familiarity with project management software such as ClickUp is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms is a plus.

Required Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years experience in customer service and/or call center.
  • Experience in a legal office or other professional office environment preferred.

Physical Demands:
  • Extended periods of desk-based work involving continuous sitting and computer usage.
  • Repetitive movements of wrists and hands during tasks.
