Aston Carter is currently hiring for Medical Insurance Verification Specialists in the Baltimore County area!

MUST HAVE: 2 years of medical insurance verification experience (Could be from a medical scheduling role, patient service coordinator, medical receptionist background ). Must have experience with system and over the phone insurance verification!

Description:

Communicates with insurance companies to obtain information and insurance verification through electronic verification system and to assure quality patient care and collection of co pays, deductibles if applicable. This is a back office role- they will not be communicating with patients at all. They will be doing insurance verification authorizations with their automated systems to check the eligibility. They will also confirm authorizations if needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

2 years of Insurance verification and Pre authorization exp.

Need to have worked with an EVS system.

Need to have experience with authorizations and eligibility.
