Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an insurance specialist! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service with excellent communication and organization skills. This role involves submitting claims to insurance companies, facilitating payments, and working on denied and returned claims. This individual will also handle updating our provider data profiles with insurance companies and complete credentialing requirements. A comprehensive understanding of insurance and coding/billing is preferred but not necessary, we will train the right candidate!
Duties
Submit claims to insurance companies Correct claims that were returned or denied Facilitate worker's compensation and post-operative payments Ensure our doctor's are contracted with insurances Update doctor records with insurance companies
