We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Insurance Coordinator to join our growing team.:
Position Overview:
The Insurance Coordinator is responsible for verifying patient insurance, processing and tracking claims, and communicating clearly with both patients and insurance providers. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and brings a strong understanding of dental insurance policies and billing procedures.:
Key Responsibilities:
Verify dental insurance coverage and eligibility prior to appointments:
Submit claims accurately and in a timely manner:
Monitor outstanding claims and follow up on unpaid or denied claims:
Interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and resolve discrepancies:
Provide patients with clear estimates of insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs:
Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to support treatment planning and scheduling:
Maintain accurate records using Dentrix or similar dental software:
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience in dental or medical insurance coordination:
Proficient in PPO insurance plans, billing codes, and claim follow-up:
Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental software strongly preferred:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills:
High attention to detail and excellent organizational habits:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional dental or billing certification a plus:
Work Schedule:
Monday through Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM:
Friday: 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM:
