The Opportunity

Delaware North Global Headquarters is hiring an Insurance Coordinator to join our risk management team located in Buffalo, New York. As an Insurance Coordinator you will be responsible for processing the renewals of property, casualty, executive risks, and specialty lines of insurance coverages. In addition, the Insurance Coordinator will use analytical thinking, tools and judgment to identify innovative solutions. Our ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, and is detail oriented with experience in the insurance industry.

This position will be hybrid out of our Buffalo, NY office.

Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Salary: $55341 - $61490 / year

Responsibilities
  • Maintain insurance policies and coverage summaries of key limits, deductibles, and premiums.
  • Allocate and inform units monthly of their respective insurance costs, answering questions as needed.
  • Liaison with insurance brokers to address internal business partners\' insurance coverage needs.
  • Collect company assets and their market value, including local payroll data and completion of insurance applications.
  • Review and assess insurance quotations for coverage and pricing disparities versus contract language requirements.
Process insurance premium audits by collecting and reporting auditable exposures to insurance carriers. Qualifications
  • Associate\'s degree and 2+ yrs of relevant experience.
  • Strong customer service skills, ideally from the insurance industry.
  • Strong MS Excel knowledge and experience.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to seek consensus.
  • Ability to travel up to 10 percent of the time.
