Responsibilities
Conduct outside sales efforts by reaching out to prospective clients through telemarketing, community events, and networking to generate new insurance leads.
Engage in retail sales activities by presenting insurance policies, explaining coverage options, and customizing plans to fit individual client needs.
Negotiate terms and policy details with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction and optimal coverage solutions.
Utilize analysis skills to assess client risk profiles and recommend appropriate insurance products.
Manage sales administration tasks including documentation, policy processing, and benefits administration to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining ongoing client relationships.
Collaborate with marketing teams to promote insurance products effectively across various channels, including digital platforms and community outreach.
Experience
Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments, preferably within the insurance industry or related fields.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
Familiarity with sales administration systems and analysis tools to track performance metrics and client data.
Excellent communication skills--both verbal and written--to build trust and rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is a plus for roles involving health insurance products.
Experience in telemarketing or marketing strategies that drive customer engagement is advantageous.
