Join our dynamic construction team as an Insulator specializing in fiberglass batt installation! In this vital role, you'll be responsible for enhancing building energy efficiency and comfort by expertly installing insulation materials in various structures. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will contribute to the creation of safe, sustainable, and well-insulated environments. Responsibilities



Measure, cut, and fit fiberglass batt insulation according to project specifications and blueprints Use hand tools and power tools to securely install insulation in walls, ceilings, attics, and other designated areas Read and interpret construction schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation Collaborate with carpenters, roofers, and other trades to coordinate insulation placement within overall construction workflows Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling materials and disposing of waste in accordance with safety standards Assist with other related tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, or minor plastering as needed to support project completion Adhere strictly to safety protocols while working on construction sites, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Requirements



Prior experience working on construction sites with a focus on insulation or related trades such as carpentry or roofing Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., utility knives, tape measures) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) used in insulation installation Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Mechanical knowledge of building systems including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) components is a plus Familiarity with construction estimating processes and fabrication techniques is desirable Strong understanding of safety procedures relevant to construction environments Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and working at heights when necessary

Pay: $17.00 - $40.00 per hour
