Job Overview

As an Instructor at OTA, you will lead engaging athletic classes for children in grades K-5. This part-time role requires a passion for working with kids, a basic understanding of sports, and a commitment to professionalism.

You will manage classes of 10-20 children in a dynamic setting, collaborating with a lead instructor and maintaining equipment. Candidates must be available afternoons (2 PM - 5 PM) and have reliable transportation.

This position offers a flexible schedule of 1-3 days per week, with a pay rate of $20 to $25 per hour. Join a supportive team dedicated to creating a fun and safe environment for young athletes.

An OTA Instructor Must:

Have experience working with kids

Be comfortable working in an athletic setting

Have some knowledge of sports

Be available to work afternoons, generally between 2-5pm

Have reliable transportation

Be punctual

Be professional

Be patient

Implement high-energy and fun classes

Work Environment:

This is a part-time position. Most instructors work 2-3 days per week.

Each class is 1 hour long. You are required to arrive 15 min early and stay 15 minutes after class (or until every child has been dismissed).

It is 2-2 1/2 hours of work per day you are scheduled.

You will use your own transportation to drive to the schools

There are mandatory trainings and staff meetings.

Job Logistics:

Each instructor is responsible for their issued equipment bags

Classes are split into grades K-2 or grades 3-5

Classes are usually between 10-20 kids
