Job Description
This position will assist a certified teacher in reinforcing instruction to individuals or small groups of students in a classroom setting. Assist in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of lesson plans; provides routine clerical support and perform related work as needed.
Duties may include but not be limited to:
Assist with supervision of hallway, recess, lunch room, buses and car line. Cover duties for absent aides and teachers as needed Prepare instructional materials as requested. Assist with preparation for school events. Assist students with classroom work as a group or individual. Organize and chaperone field trips and special events. Report any injuries to students and complete accident forms. Confidentiality Other duties assigned by the supervisor, teacher or principal.
