Job Description



To coordinate the research, assessment, project, and data management activities of the College by working cooperatively with faculty and staff across the College. Duties and Responsibilities
Gather, process, and provide data for evaluating College programs and services, enrollment management, marketing and retention initiatives.

Coordinate and act as \xe2\x80\x98keyholder\xe2\x80\x99 for the submission of selected data reports for internal constituencies and external agencies.

Prepare internal reports such as data books, program evaluation data, documents for accrediting agencies, and others as assigned.
Create and maintain program-to-occupational crosswalk using faculty subject matter experts to ensure that collected data is representative of student experiences.
Create annual, semi-annual, quarterly, and on-demand reports for NICC and its stakeholders.

Enter cohort data as it becomes available (i.e. term completion, fall to spring, etc.) and add additional elements to the disaggregated retention report.

Participates in professional development to advance skills, knowledge, and abilities as they relate to position (i.e. learning the programming languages DAX, SQL, and javascript).

Provide occasional clerical assistance including scheduling meetings, scheduling video conference, scheduling logistics of travel.

Assist in the design, implementation, and analysis of student satisfaction surveys, campus climate, and community surveys.

Participate as a member of the accreditation team by providing data to accurately portray processes and activities of the College.

Use, maintain, and report the Institutional Research annual operating budget. Qualifications
Three or more years of experience in institutional research or equivalent experience required. Formal training in data science or related field preferred. Experience with Colleague, Informer, Powerbi, Power Query, SQL, state and federal higher education reporting requirements highly preferred. Essential Functions
