We are the Lowcountry's premier permanent holiday and architectural lighting company, providing high-end programmable exterior lighting for homes and businesses throughout the Charleston Metro area. Our system offers year-round accent lighting that enhances curb appeal, security, and style. We install on Residential Homes, Commercial Buildings, Neighborhood Entrances, Docks, Decks, and Patios. We're looking for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and a desire to grow with a rapidly expanding company as we continue to meet the rising demand for smart, permanent outdoor lighting in the Charleston region.

The Role:

As a Programmable Lighting Technician, you'll measure and install cut-to-fit aluminum lighting channels along residential and commercial exteriors, HOA entrances, docks, and patio structures. You'll also splice low-voltage wiring, connect power supplies, and ensure every system is professionally installed and functional. This role involves working from ladders, lifts, and rooftops--typically between 8-24 ft, occasionally up to 30-40 ft.

Service Area:

Our service area includes Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Summerville, Goose Creek, Daniel Island, North Charleston, Johns Island, James Island, West Ashley, Hanahan, Ladson, and Moncks Corner, along with surrounding suburbs. Travel outside this area is uncommon, but generous travel pay is provided when necessary.

Pay Structure:

Training: $18/hour during the first 1-2 weeks (based on skill and performance). After Training: Level 1: $175/day, Level 2: $200/day, Level 3: $225/day, Level 4: $250/day, Level 5: $275/day. Levels 4 & 5 include 401k match and paid time off. Advancement happens quickly for those who demonstrate reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. We strongly promote from within -- hard work and loyalty are always rewarded.

Hours:

30-45 hours/week -- Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Weekend work available at 1.5x the daily rate ($262/day at Level 1). Many projects finish ahead of schedule -- and you're still paid the full day's rate once training is complete.

Qualifications:

Strong teamwork and communication skills. Background in skilled trades such as electrical, carpentry, roofing, siding, or gutters is preferred. Comfortable working outdoors and at heights. Ability to work efficiently with high attention to detail. Great customer service and professionalism. Dependable -- always on time, uniformed, and ready to perform.
