Responsibilities

Carefully unload, transport, and position commercial furniture pieces at client sites according to project specifications. Assemble furniture components accurately using tools such as screwdrivers, drills, and levels. Verify that all furniture is installed securely, level, and aligned properly to meet quality standards. Conduct thorough inspections during and after installation to ensure all items are functioning correctly and meet client expectations. Collaborate with project managers and clients to coordinate installation schedules and address any site-specific requirements or challenges. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of packaging materials responsibly. Document installation progress with detailed reports and communicate any issues or delays promptly to supervisors. Use technical skills such as operating an ohmmeter (a device for measuring electrical resistance) when necessary for installations involving electrical components.

Requirements

Proven experience with assembly or installation work, preferably in commercial or office environments. Own Tools Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret instructions, diagrams, and technical drawings / floor plans. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent physical stamina: able to lift heavy furniture items, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients clearly. Valid driver's license preferred; reliable transportation is necessary for travel between sites. To be able to get to each job location. Adapt to a fast paced environment with changing needs per customers request.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
